Beat - Tribute Show Detroit Concert reviews
Cyndi Laupner/Rod Stewart
Here is a reorganized version of the review with a few words switched:
Cyndi played 90+ minutes, Beat - Tribute Show over an hour. Packed with hits and well-performed. Both acts put on one heck of a show. That said, I left feeling a little disappointed. It seemed like they had other plans for the night. There were only two acts, unlike most concerts that have a 3rd act while everyone enters the venue. When Cyndi opened at 7pm, the venue was only half full. Rod made a last-minute adjustment, starting 30 minutes earlier than the original time and ending at 10 pm. I have been attending this venue for 18 years, and this is the first time an act ended before the 11 pm noise ordinance. There was no break before his encore "Sailing," leaving most of the audience wanting more... another hour's worth of entertainment.
